Edwina is an employment and industrial relations legal practitioner with significant experience spanning across both the public and private sector.
The breadth and depth of Edwina’s experience ranges from working as a consultant with a focus on building relationships with her clients to work hand in hand with them to find tailored solutions; to spending time as a member of an in-house legal team in a large telco and statutory authority where she was able to be part of the life cycle of her legal advice; to private practice both in a traditional law firm and as part of a large professional services firm, where she developed a keen understanding of balancing legal obligations with commercial interests. She brings this broad and varied range of experience to bear on all her interactions and the advice she provides clients.
Edwina has undertaken a range of litigious, advisory and transactional work across a number of industries such as health, government, infrastructure, transport, retail, aged care, fast moving consumer goods and social and community services. In particular, Edwina has considerable experience in wage compliance reviews, enterprise agreement bargaining, workplace investigations into bullying, sexual harassment and discrimination, performance management, managing ill and injured employees and transfer of business arrangements.
Edwina has advised clients at every touchpoint of the employment life cycle and prides herself in providing practical and pragmatic solutions to the complex employment issues that clients are increasingly facing.
