Use of third party site (Eventbrite)
From time to time, Kingston Reid uses the Eventbrite platform to manage registrations and ticketing for our events, seminars and webinars.

In addition to Eventbrite’s practices, Kingston Reid will use personal information collected through event registrations only for purposes connected with running the event, managing our relationship with you, and (where permitted) sending you legal updates or invitations that may be of interest to you, in line with Kingston Reid's Privacy Policy | Kingston Reid.
General Terms & Conditions
General
By purchasing a ticket or attending the Future Workplace Law Summit (the Event), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
The Event is organised by Kingston Reid Pty Limited (the Organiser).
Registration and PaymentAll registrations must be completed via Eventbrite.
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking to secure your place.
Ticket prices are listed in AUD and may be subject to applicable taxes and fees.
Your ticket confirmation email serves as proof of registration.
Tickets and EntryEach ticket admits one person unless otherwise specified.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry where a ticket is invalid, duplicated, or otherwise acquired in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
Attendees must comply with any venue entry requirements notified prior to the Event.
Group BookingsGroup bookings may be made where multiple tickets are purchased under a single registration.
The organisation or person making the group booking (the Group Booker) is responsible for:
- providing accurate attendee details; and
- ensuring all attendees are aware of these Terms & Conditions.
Tickets purchased under a group booking:
- may be transferred or reallocated between attendees within the Group Booker’s organisation prior to the Event;
- must not be resold for commercial gain or at a premium without the Organiser’s prior written consent.
The Organiser reserves the right to offer tailored group pricing or packages at its discretion.
Refunds and CancellationsRefunds are subject to the Event’s published refund policy (available on the Eventbrite registration page).
Refunds for individual tickets may be processed automatically within the state time period in the refund policy.
Refunds for group bookings must be requested directly from the Organiser and will be processed manually within 30 calendar days of receiving relevant information needed to process the refund. Any approved refund will be issued to the original Group Booker via the original payment method.
All refund requests must be submitted prior to the date of the Event.
No refunds will be issued for non-attendance.
If the Event is cancelled by the Organiser, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund.
SubstitutionsTickets may be transferred to another person prior to the Event.
Attendee details must be updated via Eventbrite before the Event date.
Event ChangesThe Organiser reserves the right to:
- make changes to the Event program, speakers, venue, or schedule where necessary; or
- postpone the Event to a later date.
In the event of postponement, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the new date, you may request a refund from the Organiser in accordance with the refund policy.
Condition of EntryIt is a condition of entry that all attendees agree to comply with all applicable health and safety requirements and any reasonable directions of the Organiser or venue staff, including any public health directions in force at the time of the Event.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee who behaves in a disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate manner.
Photography and MediaThe Event may be photographed, filmed, or recorded.
By attending, you consent to your image, voice, or likeness being used in promotional and marketing materials by the Organiser.
If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify the Organiser in writing prior to the Event.
Event Content and MaterialsContent presented at the Event is for general information purposes only and does not constitute legal or professional advice. Attendees should seek specific advice tailored to their individual circumstances.
All materials provided at or in connection with the Event are for personal use only and must not be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written consent of the Organiser.
LiabilityTo the extent permitted by law:
- the Organiser excludes liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising in connection with the Event; and
- the Organiser’s total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Event is limited to the amount paid for the relevant ticket.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Force MajeureThe Organiser will not be liable for any delay, alteration, or cancellation of the Event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Public health orders
Where applicable, refunds will be handled in accordance with the refund policy and applicable law.
PrivacyPersonal information collected during registration will be handled in accordance with the Organiser’s privacy policy.
By registering for the Event, you agree that the Organiser may use your contact details to:
- administer the Event;
- communicate with you about the Event; and
- send you information about related events, publications and services.
You may opt out of receiving the Organiser’s mailing list at any time by using the unsubscribe function or contacting the Organiser.
Continuing Professional DevelopmentThe Organiser intends that attendance at the Event may qualify for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes. However, it is the responsibility of each attendee to determine whether the Event meets the requirements of their relevant professional body and to claim any applicable CPD points in accordance with those requirements.
