
Salim is a specialist workplace safety and employment lawyer with extensive experience advising clients across high-risk industries on their safety, regulatory and employment law obligations.
With a particular focus on work health and safety, Salim has developed deep expertise advising companies in the construction, manufacturing and heavy vehicle sectors. His practice encompasses front-end compliance advice, management of workplace incidents, and the defence of regulatory prosecutions. Salim also advises on a broad range of day-to-day employment matters, particularly employment litigation, advising clients in respect of discrimination, victimisation, unfair dismissal and industrial disputes.
Salim is an experienced litigator, having represented clients in the defence of safety prosecutions brought by regulators. His previous role with the workplace safety regulator in New South Wales (SafeWork NSW) gives him an invaluable understanding of how regulators operate, enabling him to provide practical, informed guidance to clients on meeting their workplace health and safety duties.
