Les has extensive experience in advising on a wide range of employment and industrial matters and is known for his ability to provide clients with pragmatic advice and solutions to complex legal issues that suit their business.
Clients also value his knowledge of discrimination, privacy, administrative, work health & safety and other regulatory compliance laws and being able to assist with all matters concerning the workplace.
Working with clients on secondment has given Les an appreciation of their workplace needs as shaped by stakeholder requirements and external pressures.
In addition to his strong advisory practice, Les likes to work with his clients to prevent and resolve contentious workplace issues, regularly representing clients in alternative dispute resolution and having conducted litigation in Federal and State courts, tribunals and commissions of all levels, from NCAT to the High Court.
Les also has a passion for pro bono work and regularly assists charities and other not-for-profit organisations.
