Bryan Belling


Bryan’s lengthy and wide-ranging experience in industrial safety and employment law matters enables him to adeptly guide his clients throughout the most challenging and complex of issues and achieve their preferred outcomes by the course of least friction.

Bryan believes that setting strategy and tactics at the outset and sidelining peripheral issues and unnecessary processes and procedures helps facilitate a singular focus on the objective and achieve the efficient disposal of matters.

As well as the conduct of many substantial cases in the Federal Court of Australia and the State Supreme Courts, Bryan has played primary roles in some of the leading industrial law cases before Federal and State Commissions involving superannuation, equal pay, casualisation, contracting out, enterprise bargaining, and the modern award system.

Bryan practises in the private sector as well as the public sector, for all three tiers of government. He has deep experience and expertise across a broad range of industry sectors, including manufacturing, construction, education, and financial services.

Bryan is an Employment and Industrial Law Accredited Specialist. He is a contributing editor to Halsbury’s Laws of Australia in Industrial Law, and regularly presents at a range of industry forums and events.
